PRECIMET H.C.E. Sp. z o.o. is implementing a project called “Implementation of innovative product solutions within the range of products for modern greenhouses” under Measure 01.05 “Competitiveness of SMEs” of the “European Funds for Łódzkie 2021-2027” Program co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

The main objective of the project is to strengthen the sustainable growth and increase the competitiveness of PRECIMET H.C.E. Sp. z o.o. (the main beneficiary of the project). The investment consists in implementing the results of research and development works, within which the technology of production of tags for the cultivation and growth of certain greenhouse crops (process innovation) was developed, innovative in that they will be delivered immediately with a sequence of colors in the layer – the possibility of sequential winding of colored strings (min. 2 colors) in one layer in a fully automated manner. As part of the R&D work, a method of winding string on tags with a so-called braid was also developed. As a result of the process innovation, a new product was developed, i.e. a tomato tag with a sequence of colors in the layer and a free ball in the form of a braid (product innovation).

The scope of the project includes:
– Acquisition of a machine for automated winding of tags with string (PP/BIO) (1 pc.)
– Acquisition of a pallet wrapper (1 pc.)
– Acquisition of a technical platform (1 pc.)
– Acquisition of solutions in the field of adaptation to climate change (1 set)
– Indirect costs.

The new technology and product will constitute a significant element of the company’s competitive advantage, mainly due to new features and functionalities and a high level of innovation. The subject of the project is therefore the implementation of investment activities aimed at improving the company’s competitiveness. The project assumptions focus on implementing new technology, automating the process, increasing production capacity, diversifying the product range, expanding the offer and the group of recipients (growers of greenhouse fruit and vegetables), increasing competitiveness and implementing activities that have a positive impact on the natural environment (including promoting a pro-environmental product).

The project will be implemented as planned in the period from 01.01.2025 to 31.12.2025.

The total value of the project is PLN 1,331,461.00.
The amount of the contribution from the European Funds is PLN 696,664.80.
